Join us for a workshop on Cultural Agility with keynote visiting Professor, Paula Caligiuri

Succeeding in today’s global economy requires organizations to acquire, develop and retain professionals who can operate effectively around the world, irrespective of their country of originate or their culture. More than ever before, organisations need a pipeline of professionals who possess cultural agility – the ability to quickly, comfortably, and successfully work in cross-cultural and international environments.

Researching in the areas of expatriate management, global leadership development, and cultural agility, Paula has authored or co-authored several articles and books – including Cultural Agility:  Building a Pipeline of Successful Global Professionals.  Paula’s academic publications include numerous articles in Journal of World Business, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of International Business Studies, and Personnel Psychology.  Paula serves as the HR Area Editor for the Journal of International Business Studies, the top-ranked journal in international business.

Professor Caliguiri will be hosting a workshop on Cultural Agility at the TTS Client Conference themed “The fourth industrial revolution – technology and people assessment” on the 16th September at the Butler Caterers in Midrand.

As a D’Amore-McKim School of Business Distinguished Professor of International Business at Northeastern University, Paula Caligiuri directs the CALL Program, a corporate-sponsored international volunteerism program in partnership with the National Peace Corps Association.  (www.CALLvolunteers.com)
